1. Who we are

RelationShips (“we”, “us”) operates a cruise-scoped dating and social app. Contact us at support@relation-ships.com for any privacy question or request.

2. Information we collect

• Account details: name, date of birth, email, phone number, and login credentials.
• Verification material: a selfie and a government-issued ID used to confirm you are 18 or older and to prevent impersonation.
• Voyage details: cruise line, ship, and sailing date, used to scope your community.
• Profile content: photos, bio, preferences, likes, matches, and activity RSVPs.
• Messages and reports: chat content you send, plus reports, blocks, and moderation records.
• Device and usage data: push-notification tokens, app diagnostics, and server-side analytics events.
• Purchase records: subscription status and transaction identifiers from Apple or our payment processor. We never see or store full payment-card numbers.

3. How we use it

• Verify age (18+) and identity, and approve accounts.
• Show you only fellow voyagers on your sailing.
• Operate matching, chat, activities, and safety tooling.
• Manage subscriptions and premium entitlements.
• Moderate content, enforce our Terms, and keep users safe.
• Compute analytics and reputation scores on our servers.

4. Sharing

We share data only as needed to run the service: hosting and infrastructure providers, human ID reviewers, push-notification providers, Apple for in-app purchases, and Stripe for any web-based payments. We do not sell your personal information or share it for third-party advertising.

5. Verification data

Selfies and ID images are used solely for age and identity verification and fraud prevention, visible only to authorized reviewers. They are never shown to other users and are deleted according to the retention schedule below or when you delete your account.

6. Retention

We keep account and profile data while your account is active. Verification material is deleted within 30 days of approval unless needed for an active safety investigation. Moderation records may be kept up to 12 months. When you delete your account, your profile, photos, chats, and verification material are permanently removed within 30 days, except where the law requires longer retention.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data. Email support@relation-ships.com and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Children

RelationShips is for adults 18 and older only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we delete such accounts on discovery.

9. Changes

We will post updates here and revise the date above. Material changes will also be announced in the app.
